Meeks was Harry Meek, according to the Encyclopedia of Minor League Baseball, 3rd edition. You can also find the information from there (with additional info sometimes) here: https://www.baseball-reference.com/bullpen/Iowa_State_League. The league name was simplified for the official name for length purposes.
